About

Science, Innovation and Cooperation for a Climate-Resilient Central Asia

18-20 August 2026 Tashkent, Uzbekistan

About

The Climate Scientific Forum 2026 (CSF 2026) is an international scientific conference organized by the Central Asian University of Environmental and Climate Change Studies (Green University). It convenes researchers, policymakers, practitioners, and young professionals from Central Asia and the wider international community.

Held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan from 18–20 August 2026, CSF 2026 addresses the region's pressing climate challenges — including water scarcity, glacier retreat, land degradation, extreme weather events, and growing pressure on ecosystems and rural livelihoods.

The Forum provides a platform for evidence-based dialogue, interdisciplinary research exchange, and practical innovation aligned with national climate strategies and global sustainability commitments. Through plenary sessions, four parallel scientific tracks, poster presentations, and structured networking, participants will strengthen regional cooperation and identify actionable pathways toward a climate-resilient Central Asia.

CSF 2026 also features a Climate Residency Programme for early-career researchers and engagement opportunities for universities, government agencies, NGOs, and development partners committed to environmental and climate education.
